Who handles your information
Ferren is operated by Ferren LLC, which is responsible for the personal information collected through this inquiry form. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@ferrendiligence.com.
What we collect and why
When you submit an inquiry, we collect the contact details, organization information, investment context, and technical question you provide. We use this information to review your request, respond, and discuss whether Ferren’s services are suitable.
Our website also processes technical information to deliver the site and protect the form against spam and abuse. Please do not submit passwords, source code, customer data, confidential documents, or sensitive target-company information.
Who receives it
Your inquiry is routed by email to Ferren’s designated recipient. Amazon Web Services supports the form’s processing and email delivery, Google Workspace provides the receiving mailbox, and Cloudflare supports website delivery and abuse protection.
Legal basis and international processing
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, evaluating potential engagements, and protecting our website against abuse.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting privacy@ferrendiligence.com.
The inquiry backend operates in the AWS Ireland region. Website delivery, security services, and email handling may involve processing in other countries.
How long we keep it
For inquiries that do not lead to an engagement, we retain the inquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after our last substantive contact.
If you become a client, engagement records follow a separate retention policy. Relevant records may be retained longer where required by law or necessary for a documented dispute.
Technical records follow separate retention settings. The inquiry infrastructure specifies 14-day application logs, a four-day processing queue, and a seven-day failed-message queue. These periods do not describe mailbox backups or all provider-held records.
Your choices and rights
Submitting an inquiry is voluntary. Without sufficient contact information, we may be unable to respond.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information. You may also have the right to object to processing and complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Contact privacy@ferrendiligence.com to make a request.
